Will You Finish Strong?

Got 3 Minutes? Check your standards...and your feelings at the door.

Finish strong…

Starting Is Easy. Finishing Takes Grit.

Let’s be honest—anyone can start something.
A goal. A marriage. A new habit. A Bible reading plan.
Starting doesn’t require much. But finishing well? That’s rare.

Life throws distractions, disappointments, and detours at every turn. The middle gets messy. The finish line feels far off. And most people either drift... or quit.

But Scripture gives us a different charge:

“Be watchful, stand firm in the faith, act like men, be strong.”

1 Corinthians 16:13

This isn’t a call to hype or hustle. It’s a call to holy resolve.
To finish with grit, grace, and God in focus.

What Is Resolve?

Resolve is the steady determination to stay true to who God called you to be—especially when it’s hard, quiet, and costly.

Resolve means:

  • Praying when you’re tired.

  • Loving when it’s inconvenient.

  • Holding the line when compromise would be easier.

  • Showing up when no one’s clapping.

Resolve isn’t flashy. But it’s foundational.

Three Marks of a Person Who Finishes Strong

1. Clarity of Conviction
They know what matters—and don’t trade it for cheap wins.

2. Humble Grit
They keep going, not to impress people, but to honor God.

3. Eternal Perspective
They don’t just live for now—they live for forever.

Ask Yourself:

  • What area of my life have I started to coast in?

  • What conviction do I need to return to or rekindle?

  • Who do I want to be when I cross the finish line of this year—or this life?

Call to Action:
