What If Serving Became Second Nature?
Got 3 minutes? Let’s talk about making compassion a way of life.

Serving as a way of life…
Serving Can’t Be Just a One-Time Thing
Serving isn’t just something we check off a list—it’s how Jesus lived every day. He didn’t serve when it was convenient; He made it His mission. Matthew 20:28 reminds us, “The Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve.” But in a world that runs on schedules and deadlines, how do we make serving a lifestyle instead of an occasional event?
From Occasional Acts to a Daily Mindset
This week, we’re focusing on A Lifestyle of Compassion. Culture treats service like a seasonal project—something to do when we have extra time. But faith calls us to weave it into our everyday lives. True impact doesn’t come from random good deeds but from consistent, intentional love.
Building a Service Rhythm
Serving shouldn’t drain you—it should energize you. The key? Balance. Rest fuels service. When we prioritize time with God and care for ourselves, we can serve from a full heart, not an empty one.
Here’s the challenge: Create a Service Rhythm—a simple way to integrate serving into your life so it becomes natural, not forced.
✅ Find one consistent way to give—weekly, monthly, or seasonally
✅ Set a habit of serving as a family, couple, or friend group
✅ Look for daily moments to encourage, help, and uplift others
Ask Yourself:
Is my approach to serving based on convenience, or is it a core part of my life?
How can I create a sustainable rhythm of serving without feeling overwhelmed?
Who in my life needs consistent encouragement, support, or help that I can commit to showing up for?
