Does Your Faith Actually Make a Difference?

Got 3 minutes? Let’s talk about putting faith into action.

Christ’ Love Compels

Faith Takes Action

Faith isn’t just something we believe—it’s something we do. James 2:17 reminds us, “Faith without works is dead.” Jesus didn’t just talk about love; He showed it. He fed the hungry, healed the sick, and noticed the people everyone else ignored. His life was marked by action, and as His followers, ours should be too.

When we truly understand who Jesus is, we can’t help but live differently. Faith isn’t meant to stay in our heads—it’s meant to move our hearts.

Compassion Should Move Us

It’s easy to feel compassion, but real faith moves beyond feelings—it steps in. This week, we’re focusing on A Faith That Moves. Spiritual growth isn’t just about learning more; it’s about letting what we learn change how we live.

A faith that moves means:
💡 Noticing the struggles around us instead of looking away
🤲 Choosing to serve even when it’s inconvenient
❤️ Loving others in a way that costs us something

Love Looks Like Something

Jesus didn’t just say He loved people—He showed it. If our faith is real, it should look like something too. It looks like generosity, like kindness, like stepping in when someone is hurting.

So here’s the challenge: Find one way to serve this week—and do it. Not later. Not when it’s easy. Now. Because faith isn’t faith unless it moves.

Ask Yourself:

  • Who in my life is struggling that I’ve been too busy to notice?

  • Does my faith move me to take action, or do I just talk about it?

  • What’s one practical way I can show God’s love to someone this week?

Call to Action:

  • Do one act of service this week—buy a meal for someone in need, check in on a struggling friend, or volunteer an hour of your time.

  • Start a "Compassion Journal"—write down moments where you see a need, how you respond, and what God teaches you through it.

  • For premium subscribers, we have “Faith in Action Challenge: A 7-Day Guide to Serving with Purpose” a daily guide with scriptures, reflection prompts, and practical ways to put faith into action each day.

One Step at a Time.
