Finish Strong, Not Frantic

Got 3 minutes? Let’s finish this season with intention.

Beginning with the End in mind…

Summer’s almost here—and with it comes cookouts, vacations, road trips, and shifting routines. It’s easy to hit “spiritual cruise control” when the pace of life changes. But spiritual health doesn’t have to take a vacation just because you do.

“Be very careful, then, how you live—not as unwise but as wise, making the most of every opportunity.”

Ephesians 5:15–16

We don’t drift toward purpose—we drift away from it. That’s why now is the time to move with intentionality.

This week is all about planning ahead—not for perfection, but for presence. What would it look like to enter summer anchored, not scattered?

Ask Yourself:

  • What rhythms do I need to keep in place to stay spiritually grounded this summer?

  • Am I planning for rest and connection—or just reacting to busyness?

  • How can I invite God into my summer plans, travels, and time with others?

Call to Action:

  • Plan Your Summer Rhythm. Take 15 minutes this week to sketch out a simple spiritual rhythm for summer. Include: One weekly prayer or Scripture time and One family or personal habit to stay grounded (like a Sabbath walk or devotional breakfast)

  • Vacation Mode Devotion. Choose one upcoming trip or break day and schedule a 10-minute devotion time—either solo or with family. Use a verse (like Ephesians 5:15–16) and answer: What does it mean to walk wisely today?
